Oh Edward...

I've become rather obessed with Twilight lately (Thanks Holly) and so it stands to reason that I'd name the new love of my life after Edward Cullen....

He's a vintage Singer model 348, which I found at my favourit thrift for all of $15 :)

What's great is now not only can I make my Zombie Dolls a lot faster - but I can also make all the pretty clothes I want!

It's well exciting ♥

I'm working on a blouse to go with the blue and cream kirt right now, and pulling a pattern off a bed jacket. I'm not happy with the neck line on the first dress either - I may pull it down into a v - I'm not sure that high neck really suits someone as flat chested as myself lol.

Vintage Party Dress

I have to say - I LOVE the 50s and 60s prom dresses - there's something so hopelessly romantic about them.

I remember seeing pictures of my mum all dressed up for dances, and thinking that when I grew up I'd get to wear dresses like that and look like a princess.

Well - at least I get to wear them for a bit before they go off to their new homes...
